Combination Plans
There are two types of combination plans:

Joint Life - a single policy that insurers two or more lives. The premium is less than for the same type of coverage individually, because it's based on the joint average age between the insured. The death benefit is paid upon the first death only.

Survivorship Life - the premium is also based on the joint average age, however this policy pays on the last death.

Guaranteed Level Premium - your premiums are guaranteed for life and do not increase regardless of your age or health.

Accelerated Living Benefit - benefits may be accelerated if the insured is diagnosed with a terminal illness that with reasonable medical certainty will result in the death of the Insured in 12 months or less.
